March 5th is the confirmed date for our 2nd annual powerlifting meet "Montreal Earthquake".

Please keep in mind there is a 15 lifter limit due to space constrains so get your entries in early! We hope to have a great turn-out like last year.
March 26th is the date of the Strongman contest. The plan so far is to have Lightweight Under 231 class & Heavy over 231 - we need 5 people per class registered in order for the class to stick, otherwise we'll just go with Open weight. One of the judges will be 2 time WSM finalist (08 and 10) Jason Bergmann. The other judges will be...us!
The events are looking like this:
- 8” Log Clean and Press – LW 200 and HW 220
- Axle Deadlift for Reps (Straps allowed) – LW 400 and HW 440
- Yoke Carry – (35ft re-pick and come back) – LW 650 and HW 700
- Keg Carry and Sled Drag Medley (Keg for 70ft with turn at 35 and sled for 35) – 220 Keg and 585 Sled
- Stone Over Bar at 48” – LW TBD and HW 340
This would probably be the first contest in Montreal, or at least the first one in a long time - should be exciting!
